බන්දුලගේ කවි පොත මට ලැබිල දැන් ගොඩක් දවස්. එකින් එක කියවන් එක දිගට යන්න පුළුවන් නිර්මාන සංග්‍රහයක් තමයි බන්දුලගෙ පොත. අනෙක් පොත් කීපයේ තිබූ තේමා වගේම “ යට කඩේ උඩ ගෙදර ” තේමාවත් නියමයි. හැබැයි මොකද්ද අර උත්කෘෂ්ඨ කවි සොයන අය නම් මේ කවි පොත ඇසින් නොදකින එකමයි හොඳ. මොකද ඒ අයගේ සනීප ජීවිතේට අදාළ අනුරාගික-ස්වේතාලිප්ත-ක්ලිටෝරිස්මික කාව්‍යමය මෙව්වා එක මේ කවිවලින් නොලැබෙන නිසාය. මාක්ස් ජීවමානයි පහත මාලයේ නිතර ම පාහේ සෙනඟින් සපිරුණ ‘ කෝවිල වාගේ සල්ලිම වැටෙනා! ’ වෙළඳ සැලයි! ඉහළ මාලයේ තෘප්තිමත් බිරිඳකගෙ කට හඩ දරුවන්ගෙ සිනාහඩ පියානෝවක් වැයෙන මුදු හඩ සවන් පිනවන , විදුලි මිණි පහනින් අලංකෘත ‘ පසන් නිවසයි! ’ එක එක කවියාගෙ තේමා සහ ශෛලි එකිනෙකින් වෙනස්. එක කවියෙකුගෙ නිර්මාන අරභයා කරනු ලබන විග්‍රහයක් තවත් අනෙක් කවියෙකුගේ නිර්මානවලට ද  අදාළ දැයි ඇසීම එතරම් සුදුසු නොවේ.  එහෙම විශ්වීය නීති රීති ඇතැයි සිතන්නෝද මැට්ටෝ යැයි විදග්ධ භාෂාවෙන් පැවැසිය හැකිය. අපට සමහර නිර්මාන ඇගයීමට අලුත් නිර්ණායක උපදවා ගන්නට සිදු වේ. අර ඉහලින් කීවා සේ ක්ලිටෝරිස්මික බව යනුවෙ...
